Hand-extracted during our mineral prospecting trip to the Thunder Bay area, this large Harlequin Amethyst stands out for its captivating aesthetics and rich detail. The pristine, undamaged crystals cover the entire top surface and flow down the sides. Each crystal termination showcases a lovely rosy-pinkish glow, delicately dusted with characteristic red hematite inclusions.The front and back faces represent natural contact surfaces from where the specimen separated from the host rock. The underside consists of a thin natural matrix layer that acts as a self-standing base, subtly angling the specimen so the crystal-covered display face is perfectly showcased under display lighting.
